If you choose a DIY kit or a Color-It-Yourself version, you can request thick watercolor paper with water-proof stamped designs. This option is ideal for watercolor, gouache, and wet techniques that need heavy paper to prevent buckling, letting your creativity bloom without worrying about bleed-through.
Note: while stamped designs are water-proof, they may not be suitable for all mediums. Alcohol-based inks and markers can interact with the stamping or paper surface differently and may cause unexpected results. For best results, choose the paper type that matches your chosen medium: cardstock for dry media and light washes, thick watercolor paper for wet paints. Please note: the watercolor paper may not match the exact shade of white as the cardstock. Slight variations in tone are natural due to different paper fibers and manufacturing processes.
